We are postponing The Autonomous Main Event to ensure our attendees', ecosystem partners', and employees' safety and well-being.
The Autonomous Main Event is the centerpiece of our global event series and a highlight for our community.
Planned as a hybrid event format with both an online and an essential onsite experience, we have recently made the difficult decision to postpone it to September 29, 2021. The current uncertainty caused by the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) developments in Europe and worldwide convinced us this is the best way to proceed.
Rescheduling our flagship event will enable us to provide the safe environment that all our partners, speakers, and participants expect and deserve. We have confidence that the impact of the new COVID vaccine will kick in significantly over summer, and we should be able to see a dramatic reduction of the pandemic spread throughout 2021.
The Autonomous team remains committed to finding other ways for the mobility industry to continue working together, despite these unprecedented global challenges. As a matter of fact, we are now planning further new virtual Chapter Events to be held in the first quarter of 2021.
What is more, as promised and communicated throughout this year, we are now in high gear on the preparations for the first The Autonomous Working Group. Stay tuned as we will share additional details on our plans at the beginning of 2021.
