The Autonomous and Infineon are hosting a virtual workshop to present the latest developments of our Expert Circle Safety of Embedded AI.
This new format will be free and open to all our community members and experts who want to join forces in order to create a common understanding of how to use AI safely for trajectory planning and control in autonomous driving.
To keep this virtual session focused on a specific outcome, we kindly ask you to actively contribute and complete the below survey before the event.

Expert Circle Scope
Artificial Intelligence is a key enabler of autonomous vehicles, providing the additional algorithmic capabilities required to bring advanced autonomous driving features into the mainstream.
While AI technology is already widely accepted for perception and scene understanding to increase dependability, the use of AI for trajectory planning and control is relatively new. As a matter of fact, there are currently no initiatives focusing on creating a common understanding of how to use AI safely for trajectory planning and control.
We invite you to start working together alongside other key industry players to close this gap.
The virtual workshop will be structured as follows:
15:00 – 17:00 CEST
- Recap and Summary from The Autonomous Main Event Workshop
- Example Solution for an AI-Enhanced Trajectory Controller
- Development Process for an AI-Enhanced Trajectory Controller
- Safety Considerations
- Open Discussion
- Summary and Next Steps
